About this stay
The Foreman’s Cabin started life as the ranch’s calving barn. It was converted and finished in old salvaged wood, trims, doors, and windows, which is where its character comes from, and it sits on the edge of the ravine a short walk from the North Saskatchewan. Deer, moose, and beavers move through the area, and mowed trails run out from the cabin in several directions.
Inside are two queen bedrooms and an open kitchen and dining area, with large picture windows framing the river. The couch is positioned for the sunset, and it earns the seat. A wood-burning fireplace handles the evenings, a modern furnace covers the cold nights, and the kitchen comes with an induction stove and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower with running hot water, and a hide-a-bed and recliner round out sleeping for five.
There are corrals with water bowls and prairie pasture beside the cabin, so guests can bring their horses along. The saloon in the Granary complex pairs naturally with a stay here, and the cabin suits family gatherings, retreats, church groups, and hunters in season.
Pets are welcome here. Bring the dog.

Beautiful sunsets and a warm welcome
If you want peaceful, comfortable with the most beautiful sunsets you could hope for… This is the place for you. From check in to check out, Jarvis was a joy to work with and extremely helpful. He even started the fire in the fireplace when we showed up and had a Christmas tree waiting to help celebrate the Christmas holidays. Thank you so much for everything Jarvis! You’re the best!
The wood stove sold us
It was a wonderful, clean, beautiful and quiet place to stay! The wood burning stove is what drew us and it did not disappoint! Jarvis was quick to respond when we had any questions. Would definitely go back!
